Service & Repairs Co-ordinator
We are looking for an exceptionally organised and proactive Service \& Repairs Co\-ordinator to join our family\-run company in Eccleshall, Staffordshire.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for making sure service and repair jobs run smoothly from the initial customer enquiry right through to completion. You’ll be the central point of contact between customers, engineers, parts suppliers and the wider team, keeping everything moving and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and professionally.
No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being busy, can stay calm when things change, and is naturally good at bringing order to a lot of moving parts.
What you’ll be doing
· Taking ownership of service and repair jobs from start to finish
· Scheduling and coordinating engineers across multiple jobs
· Liaising with customers to arrange visits, provide updates and resolve queries
· Coordinating engineers, repairs, parts and availability simultaneously
· Prioritising urgent and time\-sensitive jobs appropriately
· Ordering and coordinating parts required for repairs and servicing
· Keeping customers and engineers informed of any changes or delays
· Understanding service requirements and identifying what is needed to complete a job effectively
· Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring nothing gets overlooked
· Keeping accurate records and ensuring jobs are properly documented and closed down
· Working closely with the team to continually improve the efficiency of the service operation
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
· Exceptionally organised with excellent attention to detail
· Calm, practical and confident under pressure
· A strong and professional communicator who is comfortable dealing with customers
· Highly capable when it comes to scheduling, prioritising and problem\-solving
· Able to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities without losing track
· Naturally proactive and someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked
· Comfortable coordinating people, parts and information simultaneously
· Technically minded, with enough aptitude to understand service and repair requirements and ask the right questions
· Confident using computers and everyday office systems
· Reliable, approachable and able to work well as part of a close\-knit team
Previous experience in service coordination, repairs, engineering, maintenance, technical administration or a similar environment would be advantageous, but attitude, organisation and the ability to learn are equally important.
Why join us?
You’ll be joining a family\-run business where people matter, working as a valued part of a close\-knit team rather than simply being a number.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, likes solving problems and takes pride in providing excellent customer service and keeping things running smoothly.
If you’re the kind of person who can look at a busy schedule, a handful of engineers, several repair jobs and a customer chasing an update — and think “right, let’s get this sorted” — we’d love to hear from you.
