Interim Service Manager (Supported Housing)

Location: Sefton Park, Liverpool
Contract: Interim / Temporary
Duration: 1-2 Months (Potential Extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on equivalent salary of £29,909 per annum

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Service Manager to provide temporary sickness cover within a supported housing service based in the Sefton Park area of Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality support services and leading teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents.

The service supports 17 adult residents, aged approximately between their late 30s and 65-70 years old, providing a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the supported housing service.


• Lead, support and supervise the staff team.


• Ensure high standards of care, support and service delivery are maintained.


• Manage staffing, rotas and operational requirements.


• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations.


• Build positive relationships with residents, stakeholders and external agencies.


• Address any issues that arise and ensure the service continues to operate effectively during the cover period.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience managing a supported housing, residential, or social care service.


• Strong leadership and people management skills.


• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.


• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and relevant social care legislation.


• The ability to manage operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• A flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Immediate start available.


• Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend requirement.
