Your next role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage all aspects of Highways Network Management across the Borough. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing the Network Management Plan, shaping policy and service objectives, and ensuring the effective operation of the network in line with statutory requirements.

You will oversee service performance, lead staff and contract management, and drive improvements in systems, customer service, and operational delivery. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well\-managed highway network.

The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required and access to a car, in order to make site visits and attend meetings.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer\-facing role”).
