Hours: 40 hours per week

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Forestry Division, based in Perth. This is a key role where you’ll drive operational excellence and support the continued success of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, supporting and developing a nationwide team of engineers and all Workshop and Field Operations throughout North Scotland and will hold a place on the management group and be responsible for the continued growth of the company’s aftersales business. Candidates are required to live within commuting distance.

Primary Responsibilities \& Tasks

• Responsible for all field and workshop activities in area of responsibility


• Responsible for the delivery of Service Department budget and other Key Metrics


• Pursues new possibilities to improve aftersales service, including customer visits


• Monitors high\-level product problems/concerns and seeks commitment from appropriate departments/units so that necessary actions can be taken


• Develop and manage a team to achieve expected individual and department performance metrics and goals

• Experience and/or knowledge of the Forestry industry (desirable but not essential)


• Experience of leading a modern customer support organisation in a dynamic and demanding environment to provide market leading customer service


• Experience of managing a team of high performing engineers


• Ability to utilise modern business systems


• Knowledge of current Health \& Safety legislation


• Full UK Driving Licence

• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Flexible mindset and the ability to lead change


• Ability to engage and inspire others
