Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for our clients' equipment and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast\-paced environment, utilise your technical expertise, and contribute to the optimisation of customer operations. The position is ideal for individuals with a passion for engineering. Our clients are based in the UK and overseas and therefore you must be willing to travel to client sites when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide the required range of product support, service to customers in the UK and overseas (including service \& repair, installation, and commissioning) ensuring quality of service.
- Provide remote technical support and fault diagnosis where appropriate.
- Adhere to processes and procedures for the recording \& logging of service activity (including writing and submitting reports, updating service management systems and maintaining accurate service records).
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a professional representative of CODEL whilst delivering high levels of technical support and customer service.
- Comply with requirements for documentation in support of service activity for ISO9001 certification where required.
- Work to ensure your own safety and that of your colleagues and customers and ensure compliance with all relevant Health \& Safety procedures.
- The ability to demonstrate knowledge of good practice in engineering.
- A good level of attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Effective communication skills, face to face, over the telephone and in writing.
- Understanding of providing excellent customer service.
- Qualified to a minimum of HNC level in an engineering discipline or alternatively have recent working knowledge and experience of relevant engineering work.
- Possess a time\-disciplined and self\-motivated approach to work.
- The ability to work unsupervised and under pressure at times.
- Be prepared to undertake regular UK and international travel, including occasional short\-notice assignments and overnight stays.
- A full UK driving license is required.
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of using a range of other software packages.

- Experience in commissioning, servicing and maintenance on a range of equipment including Gas Analysis, Gas Analysers, Process Instruments, Gas Detection, CEMS, Stack Monitoring and Tunnel Monitoring Equipment.
- A good working knowledge of similar product sets and instrumentation, together with previous experience in a similar Service Engineer role.
- Experience of carrying out work on a range of industrial sites including Oil \& Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Cement, Power Station, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Natural Gas facilities.
- Experience of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC\&I) systems gained through practical and/or academic experience.
- Current CCNSG Safety Passport, CSCS card or equivalent industrial site safety certification.
Pay: £39,000\.00 per year
