Service Centre Manager / Workshop Controller (Automotive)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Centre Manager / Workshop Controller to oversee the daily operations of our facility on a Part Time bases. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage the team effectively. As a Centre Manager / Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service delivery while fostering a positive environment for both staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.


• Manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.


• Analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.


• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding of objectives.


• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that promotes inclusivity and engagement among all visitors.


• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the centre.


• Maintain accurate records and reports related to centre activities and performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, within the automotive industry.


• Ideally automotive mechanical background with industry qualifications.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.


• Excellent analytical skills to assess performance data and implement improvements.


• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.


• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
