Service Advisor

Location: Crawley, Rossetts Commercials

Job Type: Full\-Time. Permanent

Hours: 47 hours per week. 8\.00am to 6\.00pm Monday to Friday with a 1\-hour break each day plus 1\-in\-3 Saturdays 07:00am to 01:00pm.

Salary: Starting from £33,140 DOE (£13\.56 p hr), plus additional target\-based bonuses up to £1750 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor to join our busy site in Crawley on a full\-time basis.

Role overview:

· This is a fast paced and busy role where you will take responsibility for your customers. You will be acting as the main point of contact and offering support and guidance whenever customers visit us to get their vehicle serviced, or when they need help or advice with the up keep of their vehicle.

· You’ll be the link between our customers and the workshop. From welcoming customers, you’ll ensure their smooth journey, from agreeing service or understanding repair requirements to booking in work and presenting the completed job. Along the way, you’ll liaise with our parts team and suggest suitable additional products and services to the customer.

Role duties and main responsibilities:

· Taking instructions from customer’s and processing efficiently service and/or repairs in workshop and obtain customer’s signature on completed repair order.

· Maintaining the progress of customer’s vehicle repair work, communicating any additional work required, obtaining authority, and ensuring full payment of any cash accounts before releasing vehicle.

· Notifying customer of vehicle status and arranging collection or delivery.

· Handing over vehicle in a professional manor, and in a clean condition, inspect vehicle for any bodywork damage, explain repair work carried out, if additional work is required re\- book vehicle for future work.

· Ensure that Technicians job card write\-up and allocation of time is well documented to ensure accurate billing.

· Maintain a good working relationship with customers by answering the telephone and responding to any queries within the target set by the Company to ensure repeat business.

· Ensure customer’s vehicle history is reviewed and maintained up to date and customer is informed of required services due.

· Ensure that customers who are waiting for their vehicle are comfortable

· Ensure customer’s vehicles are secure at all times, especially when parked in the compound.

· Assist the Service Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service desk.

· Maintain the smooth running of the 24\-hour service for incoming breakdowns and authority required for the repairs carried out in the workshop relating to the breakdowns

About You

Previous dealership experience is required

Kerridge experience is desirable

Full driving licence is required.
