Service Advisor

Our client, a well-established independent car dealership in Exeter, is actively seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their professional and customer-focused team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Service Advisor to further their career within a reputable business that prioritises staff development and offers clear progression pathways.

• OTE of up to £32,000 through bonuses and commissions

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• Offering proactive service to all customers and establishing strong relationships


• Scheduling vehicle services, repairs, and maintenance efficiently


• Arranging courtesy vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction


• Managing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing updates


• Accurately invoicing work completed and processing payments


• Working towards achieving sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


• Maintaining high levels of customer service and delivering a positive experience at all times

Requirements for the Service Advisor position:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within motor trade environments


• Confident and proactive manner with exceptional customer service skills


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment


• Proficiency in using workshop management and computer systems


• Full UK driving licence with no more than three points and no major motoring offences


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
