Reason8 is a premium web design and digital agency based in Hinckley. We design, build and look after websites for owner\-led UK businesses, and our SEO service is growing fast. We're looking for someone to take full ownership of it.

This isn't a junior role. We want someone confident enough to run client relationships, lead the conversation, and grow the SEO side of the business with us.

The role

You'll own SEO at Reason8\. That means:

• Managing the full SEO relationship with every client: communication, reporting, strategy reviews


• Delivering the technical work yourself: audits, on\-page optimisation, keyword research, technical SEO, link strategy, content briefs


• Producing monthly client reports and leading strategy calls


• Spotting opportunities proactively: upsells, new services, recommendations clients haven't thought of yet


• Working alongside our web designers so SEO is built into every new site from day one


• Helping us win new SEO business: sitting in pitches, contributing to proposals


• Growing the SEO book from where it is now to where we want it to be

• 3\-5 years' SEO experience, ideally agency\-side


• Confident running client accounts independently: you don't need hand\-holding


• Strong written and verbal communication: you're comfortable on calls and in meetings


• Proactive by nature: you spot what needs doing and do it, you don't wait to be told


• Commercially minded: you understand that SEO is a business service, not just a technical exercise


• Hands\-on across the full SEO stack: technical audits, content/keyword strategy, reporting, analysis


• Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or SEMrush, Screaming Frog


• Familiar with WordPress (Shopify and other CMS a bonus)


• Eligible to work in the UK


• Able to commute to our Hinckley office

• Anyone who wants to specialise in one area of SEO (we need a complete operator)

• Anyone looking for a task\-based role with someone else managing the client relationship

• £28,000\-£32,000 full\-time equivalent, depending on experience


• Three days per week to start (£16,800\-£19,200 actual), with a clear path to four then five days as we grow the SEO book together


• 20 days holiday \+ bank holidays


• Renewal bonus, paid every time a client renews their SEO retainer


• Milestone bonuses at 10, 15 and 20 active SEO clients


• Office\-based in Hinckley


• 3\-month probation period (extendable by 1 month)

You'll be the SEO function at Reason8\. Not a cog in a department, the person who owns it, shapes it, and grows it.

You'll work directly with the founders, have real input into how the service evolves, and have a bonus structure that means when the business wins, you win.

Pay: £16,800\.00\-£19,200\.00 per year
