<p>As an Editor, you will be at the forefront of transforming ideas into captivating visual narratives. Collaborating closely across multidisciplinary studio capabilities and in partnership with clients, you will refine and enhance edits to create high-quality content that delivers clear and engaging storytelling.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Interpret creative briefs and collaborate with directors, producers, creative leads, and clients to bring creative concepts and story visions to life</li>
<li>General day-to-day editing, basic color correction, motion graphics, and basic sound editing</li>
<li>Edit and assemble raw material into polished content across multiple formats and platforms</li>
<li>Ensure pacing, tone, and storytelling align with the intended creative vision and brand guidelines</li>
<li>Adapt edits for multiple platforms, regional/local versions, and varying technical specifications</li>
<li>Maintain brand consistency and ensure all deliverables meet technical and quality standards</li>
<li>Clockings, sound-lays and adding or amending legal copy to masters</li>
<li>Advising clients on current broadcast compliance and Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre / Clearcast / Ofcom television advertising standards codes and notes of guidance, and ensuring material meets these standards</li>
<li>Expressing and sharing constructive feedback with all levels of client and agency personnel</li>
<li>Support producers with timings and processes to attain a high level of work</li>
<li>Advising on client specific information such as brand information, logos, fonts and notes of guidance</li>
<li>Advising producers and post producers with information on postproduction pipeline to ensure we deliver a professional and accurate quote so that projects are brought in on time and within budgeted parameters</li>
<li>Advise and manage projects after completion - fulfill any project consolidation that might be required to successfully archive a whole edit project</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Reporting lines and key stakeholders</strong></p>
<p>This role reports to the Head of Broadcast.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Advanced proficiency of Premier and After Effects</li>
<li>Strong workflow knowledge of Photoshop, and Illustrator</li>
<li>At least 6-8 years of experience in post-production houses, creative studios, or advertising agencies</li>
<li>Strong communication and client-facing skills with a collaborative mindset</li>
<li>Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and internal teams</li>
<li>Combine both creative skills with technical know how</li>
<li>Have knowledge of Apple Hardware and Broadcast software systems</li>
<li>A thorough understanding of video codecs and intermediary process (e.g. EDL, XML, standards conversions etc.) and other postproduction workflows and services</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English</li>
<li>Able to adapt to new working methods & practice technology advances</li>
</ul>
