Senior test lead (ERP)
Assignment description
We are looking for a Senior Test Lead (ERP) for an assignment focused on a strategic transition to a new ERP platform based on SAP S/4HANA. The program aims to optimize business processes, improve cross\-functional information flows and strengthen data management capabilities across the organization.
As Test Lead, you will be part of the program’s central test team and responsible for driving and coordinating testing activities throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes test planning, leading teams of testers, handling and following up on incidents, and supporting communication and training related to testing across different test phases.
You will be part of the Test Center of Excellence (CoE) and work closely with process workstreams, developers, solution architects and other stakeholders while reporting to the central Test Manager. The assignment is primarily based in Solna, with some travel potentially required.
Key responsibilities include developing test plans, coordinating and leading test execution, monitoring progress and ensuring efficient collaboration across teams. The role also includes overseeing defect management, ensuring issues are documented, tracked and resolved in collaboration with implementation partners and development teams.
You will also be responsible for communicating testing status, risks and progress to relevant stakeholders and supporting a consistent test methodology together with the central Test Manager and other Test Leads within the Test CoE.
Qualifications:
- Documented Test management e.g. ISTQB certification.
- Bachelor or Master degree in applicable area is preferred
- Proven experience as a leader in managing test in a large complex transformation program
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies. Advantage of experience in testing in an agile methodology.
- Strong understanding of end\-to\-end test data quality management.
- Extensive experience and understanding of large global ERP standard system processes and it is an advantage if you have experience with SAP.
- System implementation experience is required, experience in process industry is preferred.
- Excellent documentation skills to maintain clear and concise records of testing activities. This includes writing test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Strong test management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in larger Test management tool.
- Fluency in English and Swedish in both verbal and written.
You are analytical and detail\-oriented, with the ability to think critically when evaluating quality and identifying risks or improvement areas. You also have strong problem\-solving skills and a hands\-on approach, combined with a strategic mindset and the ability to find practical and innovative solutions to testing challenges.
