Senior Technical Production Manager

Office and site-based with frequent on-site visits

This is a hands-on AV and events production supplier, part of a wider group, delivering live events, scenic builds and exhibition stands. A new scenic workshop adds fresh capability, and the pipeline is growing. Which is exactly why a Senior Event Production Manager is now being brought in. The Role

The Senior Event Production Manager sits at the heart of delivery, taking client and internal briefs, designing the technical solution across lighting, video and audio, and leading it through to on-site completion as the trusted point of contact for the client.

• Interpret client briefs and design appropriate technical production solutions


• Manage lighting, video and audio across live event builds


• Coordinate scenic elements alongside the dedicated workshop team


• Handle kit booking, logistics and supplier management


• Produce RAMS and health and safety documentation


• Act as on-site lead and primary client contact throughout delivery

You are an experienced Senior Event Production Manager with a solid technical foundation across AV, lighting, video and audio, and a clear understanding of how agencies think and what they need from a production partner. You have worked in or closely alongside the agency world, you are comfortable owning client relationships, and you have the logistics and compliance side of delivery well in hand.

A hands-on background is important here. The team is built on people who have done the technical work themselves and that instinct matters when things move fast on site. Breadth across AV disciplines is more useful than depth in one area, and experience from a related production or technical background is equally welcome.

Remuneration sits between £40,000 and £45,000, backed by a profit-share scheme with a strong track record of paying out and overtime on top of that.
