Senior Technical Business Analyst

Overview

A client in the Fund management sector has acquired a several businesses and is in the process of integrating those businesses into the organisation. The role of the Business Analyst is to engage with the acquired businesses IT departments with a view to defining the scope of which applications are required to be integrated.

The main tasks will be;

• Analyse the IT landscape of the acquired businesses


• Document the outcome


• Work with the overall IT integration project team in identifying the integration scope


• Work with the IT integration project team to plan the integration

• Should have worked on projects in a large IT organisation previously


• Is comfortable with IT concepts and terminology (Office 365, Azure, Data Centres, Business Applications)


• Is comfortable working with a large group of disparate stakeholders, who have varying levels of commitment to the project outcome.


• Will drive the definition of Business requirements and communicate these clearly to the relevant stakeholders


• Will push for engagement of all concerned parties in reaching a conclusion to the Business IT discovery requirements


• Will build relationships with key decision makers in the wider organisation


• Will adjust to changing priorities and expectations as needed.


• Will communicate the urgency of the task and escalate lack of engagement as required.


• Is comfortable working independently and working out the steps required to achieve the project deliverables.

This will be a Day rate Contract (6 month rolling).

Fluent English (other European languages would be of benefit).
