Salary: £31,000 \- £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Children's Support Worker to join our therapeutic residential children's home in Burton\-on\-Trent.
Our welcoming 4\-bed home supports children and young people aged 6–18 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Using a therapeutic and PACE\-informed approach, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where young people can develop positive relationships, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional looking to progress their career within a supportive and child\-centred organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high\-quality therapeutic care and support to children and young people.
- Lead shifts and support the effective day\-to\-day operation of the home.
- Act as a positive role model and build trusting relationships with young people.
- Support, guide, and mentor members of the staff team.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and daily routines.
- Promote positive outcomes and encourage the development of independence and life skills.
- Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing remain at the heart of all practice.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a children's residential care setting.
- A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to therapeutic and child\-centred practice.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
