Senior Support Worker and Support Worker (supporting UASC 16-18 year olds)

Job Summary
Serene Support Services is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. You will be supporting young people aged 16–18 years old.

We are currently recruiting 1 x Senior Support Worker and 1 x Support Worker

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who:

• Works a rotating shift pattern (3 on / 4 off, 4 on / 5 off, etc.) (regular sleep in nights)


• Is an evening worker (Sleep in)


• Can complete sleep‑in shifts within the property (6pm\-11pm (sleep) 7am\-8am)


• Can work one daytime shift every three weeks


• Has a genuine interest in working within a domiciliary care environment


• Communicates clearly and professionally at all levels


• Can work independently and as part of a supportive team


• Is willing to take part in vocational training and ongoing self‑development

• Previous experience as a Support Worker is desirable but not essential.


• Previous experience with UASC is desirable but not essential.


• Full training will be provided.

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 or working towards is essential

• Supporting young people with food shopping, budgeting, and managing their finances


• Maintaining communal areas to a high standard


• Communicating effectively with external agencies


• Completing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records


• Providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment at all times

Pay: £14\.75 per hour
