Accountabilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of the internal developer platform, including Kubernetes environments, observability systems, secrets management, delivery pipelines, and shared infrastructure services.

  • Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure components, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational resilience.

  • Develop production-grade platform tooling, services, APIs, operators, and automation solutions using Go and/or Python.

  • Build and maintain self-service infrastructure capabilities such as reusable Terraform modules, Helm charts, CI/CD templates, and platform APIs to improve developer productivity.

  • Drive the scalability and modernization of cloud and bare-metal infrastructure environments while continuously enhancing monitoring, logging, and deployment systems.

  • Own infrastructure security initiatives, including identity management, access controls, secrets management, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance requirements.

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure controls that support audit readiness and industry-standard security frameworks.

  • Strengthen container, software supply chain, and platform security through vulnerability management, artifact verification, security scanning, and zero-trust principles.

  • Promote the adoption of AI-driven tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity, automation, incident response, documentation, and operational efficiency.

  • Define technical standards, reduce technical debt, mentor engineers, conduct architectural reviews, and contribute to the long-term infrastructure strategy.

  • Partner with engineering, security, data, and operations teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions.

  • Participate in incident response activities and lead post-incident improvement initiatives to enhance platform reliability.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or related disciplines.

  • At least 3 years of experience in senior, staff, principal, or technical leadership roles with responsibility for system architecture and engineering direction.

  • Strong software engineering expertise with Go and/or Python, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of production-grade services and tools.

  • Proven experience architecting and operating large-scale distributed systems with a strong understanding of scalability, resilience, capacity planning, and architectural trade-offs.

  • Deep expertise with Kubernetes across cloud, hybrid, and bare-metal environments, including networking, storage, multi-tenancy, and lifecycle management.

  • Advanced Terraform experience, including reusable module development, infrastructure automation, and large-scale state management.

  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OCI, or equivalent environments.

  • Strong knowledge of observability ecosystems, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and telemetry solutions.

  • Experience with deployment automation, GitOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Helm, ArgoCD, or comparable delivery technologies.

  • Solid Linux systems administration and networking knowledge, including DNS, load balancing, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and related infrastructure concepts.

  • Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure security, compliance frameworks, container security, supply chain protection, and zero-trust architectures.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools within engineering workflows and driving adoption of automation and productivity-enhancing technologies.

  • Strong communication, mentoring, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills within distributed teams.

  • Professional English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
