<p><strong>The Role: </strong></p>
<p data-start="144" data-end="540">As a Senior Software Engineer II focusing on trading engineering, you will play a critical role in delivering a high-quality trading platform that powers trading functionality in the Forge Marketplace. You will identify opportunities to enhance trading products, including integrating modern low-latency technologies, and help define the direction and roadmap for trading engineering initiatives.</p>
<p data-start="542" data-end="744">You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of trading technologies into products, improving both user experience and application performance.</p>
<p><strong>Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in Soho, NY.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li data-section-id="mnhwg7" data-start="861" data-end="913">Deliver software on time with accurate estimates</li>
<li data-section-id="kbrhxz" data-start="914" data-end="1001">Take ownership of production changes, including monitoring and maintaining runbooks</li>
<li data-section-id="qvp1ul" data-start="1002" data-end="1083">Provide high-quality code reviews and help improve team engineering standards</li>
<li data-section-id="1jdh9bi" data-start="1084" data-end="1175">Design scalable and resilient trading platform architecture with a focus on performance</li>
<li data-section-id="1g79vnx" data-start="1176" data-end="1247">Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical direction</li>
<li data-section-id="rx3j52" data-start="1248" data-end="1340">Serve as a technical expert for trading systems for internal teams and external partners</li>
<li data-section-id="8eapox" data-start="1341" data-end="1435">Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions</li>
<li data-section-id="18yu7e5" data-start="1436" data-end="1524">Solve complex engineering challenges, particularly within code generation frameworks</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience</li>
<li data-section-id="1hh1fbf" data-start="1581" data-end="1629">5–8 years of software engineering experience</li>
<li data-section-id="1d383hj" data-start="1711" data-end="1817">5+ years of development experience in compiled, object-oriented languages (e.g., TypeScript, C#, Java)</li>
<li data-section-id="1fiadjm" data-start="1818" data-end="1908">2+ years of experience in dynamic scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby)</li>
<li data-section-id="e0ukmo" data-start="1935" data-end="2031">Experience with real-time data processing and event-driven systems (e.g., WebSockets, Kafka)</li>
<li data-section-id="qj8krp" data-start="2032" data-end="2097">Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL</li>
<li data-section-id="5dw9dh" data-start="2098" data-end="2173">Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing production deployments</li>
<li data-section-id="4y5vwv" data-start="2174" data-end="2228">Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), proficiency with Git, GitHub, and Agile tools such as JIRA</li>
<li data-section-id="1gfiw9x" data-start="2229" data-end="2291">Experience in Private Markets or Financial Services, especially financial market data</li>
<li data-section-id="3zinq9" data-start="2430" data-end="2474">Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, proven ability to unblock and mentor other engineers</li>
<li data-section-id="1vkz06n" data-start="2532" data-end="2612">Strong track record of delivery in high-performance engineering environments, commitment to diversity, inclusion, and building high-performing teams</li>

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors</span></em></strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr>
