Are you looking for a role where you can shape the future of credential security? We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to elevate the reliability, performance, and quality-by-design of Dashlane’s Web Platform. This is a high-impact technical role, helping shape long-term architectural direction while enabling teams to deliver faster and more confidently at scale.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement robust quality and observability capabilities, contribute to engineering best practices within your team, and champion a security-first, reliability-driven mindset. You will apply deep expertise in quality and testing alongside strong web and platform engineering knowledge to deliver sustainable, measurable improvements to our engineering standards and user experience.
In this role, you will combine strong frontend expertise with a forward-thinking AI mindset, integrating GenAI tools throughout the SDLC to accelerate development velocity while working in a deeply collaborative team to secure millions of digital identities.
Location:
You will be based in Lisbon, with English as your working language. At Dashlane, we embrace a hybrid culture that combines the best of both worlds: the creativity and energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our model is designed to strengthen team connections while supporting individual productivity and work-life balance. To maximize collaboration, we come together in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work.

At Dashlane you will:
<ul>
<li data-start="1359" data-end="1544">Drive the long-term technical vision for Web Platform quality and reliability, shaping architecture with a strong focus on performance, testability, security, and quality-by-design.</li>
<li data-start="1546" data-end="1761">
Design and enable platform-level quality capabilities (testing frameworks, observability standards, CI/CD guardrails, and tooling) that empower multiple teams to ship faster, safer, and with higher confidence.
</li>
<li data-start="1763" data-end="1973">
Act as a multiplier, identifying systemic gaps, driving high-leverage improvements, and ensuring measurable outcomes in Web Platform reliability, stability, and engineering standards.
</li>
<li data-start="2153" data-end="2336">
Raise the engineering bar across teams by coaching, mentoring, and influencing engineers, while continuously learning and sharing knowledge to foster a culture of technical curiosity, craftsmanship, security, and engineering excellence.
</li>
<li data-start="2338" data-end="2565">
Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and cross-functional teams, influencing prioritization and decision-making by clearly articulating trade-offs between engineering excellence and business needs.

<li data-start="2567" data-end="2716">
Optimize end-to-end testing strategies, improving test effectiveness, execution speed, and confidence in production releases at scale.
</li>
<li data-start="2567" data-end="2716">Act as an AI Pioneer within the engineering organization, demonstrating proven experience integrating modern GenAI tooling into day-to-day workflows (and actively mentoring teams on its adoption).</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>6+ years of experience in software development</li>
<li>3+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript development</li>
<li>3+ years of experience with frameworks such as React, AngularJS or VueJS</li>
<li>4+ years of experience working in a product-focused company</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team</li>
<li>Ability to accelerate team-wide AI adoption by coaching peers on prompt security, output validation, and designing production-ready human-in-the-loop systems</li>
<li>Fluency in English</li>
</ul>
We're Also Looking For:
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing best practices and test framework optimization to improve quality and execution speed</li>
<li>Willingness to develop a T-shaped skill set, combining deep expertise in quality and observability with broad platform and web engineering knowledge</li>
