As a Senior Social Care Worker, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the delivery of excellent care. This role operates on a structured rota with 12\-hour day shifts (7:45am – 8:15pm). You’ll typically work just 3–4 days per week, giving you regular days off and a better work–life balance, including extended periods of time off across the rota.

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Support and guide a team to deliver high standards of care

  • Champion a holistic, person\-centred approach tailored to older adults
What we’re looking for:
  • Competence in written and spoken English

  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults / older people

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting older people
Experience in a Senior role and an HNC in Social Care, SVQ Level III (Health and Social Care), or equivalent is desirable.

We value diversity and warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including ethnic minorities and speakers of other languages (e.g. Cantonese, Hakka, Punjabi, Urdu).

Important information

  • PVG Scheme membership is required (you’ll cover the cost)

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is mandatory (we’ll cover the cost). You must be registered or apply within 3 months and achieve registration within 6 months of starting

Why join us?

You’ll be part of a supportive team making a real impact in people’s lives, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.

These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
