At DXC Spain we are looking for a Security Engineer.
Roles \& Responsibilities
- Act as L3 technical reference within the SOC and managed security services
- Handle and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents (L3 level)
- Design, evolve and harden security architectures (on\-premise and cloud)
- Participate in cybersecurity projects (deployments, migrations, improvements)
- Manage and optimize advanced security technologies, including:
+ SIEM/SOAR (e.g. Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar)
+ Firewalls/WAF (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto)
+ SASE / SWG / CASB (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)
- Support service transitions and implementation of new security capabilities
- Act as escalation point for L1/L2 teams and provide technical mentorship
- Engage with clients (workshops, troubleshooting, reporting)
- Contribute to the implementation of security solutions in client environments
- Participate in on\-call rotations when required
- \+7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Previous experience as: L3 SOC / Senior Security Engineer, or Technical Security Architect / Consultant (hands\-on)
- Strong hands\-on experience across:
+ Enterprise environments, multi\-client setups or MSSP
- Solid knowledge in several of the following areas:
+ Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
+ SASE / Cloud Security (Netskope, Zscaler, CASB)
+ Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
+ Security across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments
+ Microsegmentation (e.g. Guardicore)
+ Infrastructure as Code / automation
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
- Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities
