The Senior SAP Project Manager is a key role within Julius Baer, located in the CFO Global Accounting, Reporting and Finance Operations department.
In this role, you will lead and deliver strategic SAP Finance projects, working closely with Finance, Business, and IT stakeholders. The position is pivotal in driving the successful implementation and evolution of SAP solutions, shaping the future Finance landscape with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Group Reporting.
YOUR CHALLENGE

As Senior SAP Project Manager, you will:
- Lead and deliver complex SAP Finance projects end\-to\-end, with focus on:
+ SAP S/4HANA Finance (Financial Accounting and Management Accounting)
+ Enhancement and continuous evolution of the existing SAP ERP landscape
- Ensure successful project delivery in line with agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets
- Be responsible for business analysis and project management and providing respective information including data flows, business requirements and test cases
- Establish and manage strong project governance, including:
+ Dependency and integration management
+ Risk and issue management
+ Preparation of decision documents with impact analysis and solution options
- Act as the main interface between Finance and IT to ensure successful implementation of SAP solutions
- Translate business requirements into SAP solutions in close collaboration with functional and technical teams
- Drive collaboration with IT and Architecture to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise standards and CFO’s long\-term strategy
- Be responsible for a qualitative and timely technical implementation, testing and sign\-off
- Support business stakeholders during the transformation journey, ensuring adoption and value realization
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the continuous evolution of Finance SAP systems and processes

The successful candidate is a seasoned SAP Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering complex SAP Finance projects in the financial services industry.
Professional Experience
- Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager delivering large\-scale implementations, ideally including:
+ SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Strong expertise in SAP Finance modules and related solutions (e.g., FI/CO, AA, consolidation, reporting, planning, analytics)
- Solid understanding of finance processes, including:
+ Controlling
+ Financial Accounting
+ External reporting
+ Data and reporting architecture
- Experience delivering projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience as business analyst in SAP transformation projects
- Experience in the Finance department (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Consolidation) of a bank within an international environment is an advantage
- Experience in financial services, ideally private banking
- Strong delivery and execution mindset with hands\-on project leadership experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and IT
- Ability to manage complex, cross\-functional environments and multiple workstreams
- Pragmatic, solution\-oriented, and structured working style
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all organizational levels
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive results
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
- Hands\-on experience delivering SAP Group Reporting or consolidation projects
- Deep understanding of SAP Finance architecture and data structures
- Strong track record of delivering SAP projects on time and within budget
- Strong drive to deliver tangible business value through SAP\-enabled Finance transformation
