About the role
Aldwickbury Park Golf Club is a well\-established, thriving golf club situated within the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside, featuring an 18\-hole main course \& 9\-hole short course. Alongside our successful membership offering, we host a wide range of events including weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, golf days, and community events. Our offering continues to grow, and we are looking for someone who can build on this success supporting the Sales Manager in working towards a unified goal.
The Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Senior Sales Executive to join our thriving business as part of our sales team. With a busy members’ environment, an established reputation, and a flourishing events department, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving revenue and creating memorable experiences for our guests and members alike.
As Senior Sales Executive, you will be involved with maximising revenue opportunities across the club, covering membership, group golf, events, functions, and corporate business. You will work closely with the operations and events teams to ensure seamless delivery from enquiry through to event completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming sales enquiries and converting leads into bookings
- Driving sales across weddings, corporate events, golf days, membership and private functions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, members, and local businesses
- Developing new business opportunities and partnerships
- Conducting site visits and client meetings
- Coordinating with the events and hospitality teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences
- Achieving agreed targets
- Maintaining accurate records and contract paperwork
Experience
- Hospitality and Leisure sector experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in sales in a target driven environment.
- Good communication skills: Verbal, Written and Listening.
- Good time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent relationship building skills to work alongside a wider team.
- Organised and enthusiastic with a “can do” attitude and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic with a positive energy that uplifts the team.
- Driven with a motivation to continuously improve.
