About Us

Lily Arkwright is a leading luxury fine jewellery brand, renowned for our beautifully crafted lab\-grown and natural diamond collections. Featured in The Telegraph, Rock My Wedding, Confetti, and The Independent, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service alongside ethically sourced fine jewellery.

As NAJ members with a JET\-qualified team, we offer expert guidance and a highly personalised experience to every customer.

Our Manchester showroom is located within our Head Office at Towers Business Park in Didsbury, a beautiful Grade II listed mansion set within landscaped grounds. The site offers an on\-site café, regular community events, food vendors, and a unique working environment that reflects the premium experience we provide to our customers.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a full\-time Senior Sales Consultant to join our Manchester team. This is a hands\-on role combining luxury showroom consultations with online sales and customer support. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful customer relationships, working collaboratively as part of a close\-knit team, and contributing to a growing independent jewellery brand.

The Role

As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding customers through some of life’s most meaningful purchases.

This is a varied role combining face\-to\-face sales consultations with online customer support and sales activity. Approximately half of your time will be spent meeting customers in our Head Office showroom, while the remainder will be focused on supporting customers remotely through email, telephone, live chat, and appointment follow\-up.

Working closely with our wider Jewellery Consultancy and Fulfilment teams, you’ll help customers throughout their entire journey, from initial enquiry through to purchase. No two days are the same. One morning might involve hosting consultations in our showroom, while the afternoon could be spent responding to enquiries, following up quotations, processing appointments, and helping customers choose the perfect piece remotely.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships both in person and online, is comfortable using computer systems throughout the day, and can confidently balance sales, customer service, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional one\-to\-one consultations in person, by phone, and via digital channels

  • Confidently guide customers through engagement ring, wedding band, and bespoke purchases

  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, budgets, and timelines

  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries via email and live chat, maintaining a high standard of communication

  • Proactively follow up on enquiries, nurturing leads and converting them into confirmed orders

  • Identify sales opportunities across all customer touchpoints while maintaining a calm, consultative approach

  • Support the day\-to\-day running of the showroom within Head Office, maintaining high presentation standards

  • As part of the Jewellery Consultancy team you'll work closely with our fulfilment, and head office teams to ensure a seamless customer journey

  • Take ownership of your sales, from first contact through to conversion

  • Act as a role model for brand values, professionalism, and customer experience
This role is approximately 50% showroom consultations and 50% office\-based sales and customer support.

About You

We are looking for a confident and personable individual with experience in a customer\-facing sales role, ideally within fine jewellery or luxury retail.

You’ll enjoy building relationships with customers both in person and online, and be equally comfortable conducting showroom consultations, responding to enquiries, and managing follow\-up activity throughout the sales journey.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales\-focused role (fine jewellery / engagement ring sales essential)

  • A natural ability to connect with customers and build trust

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confidence managing customer conversations across email, telephone, live chat, and face\-to\-face consultations

  • A consultative approach to selling, with confidence guiding customers through high\-value purchases

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple enquiries, follow\-ups, and longer sales journeys simultaneously

  • Proficiency with computer systems, CRM platforms, and data entry

  • Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day working on a computer

  • Self\-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours
  • 40 hour contract working 5 days out of 7 including Saturdays. Our working hours are:

  • 8:30\-5:30 Weekdays

  • 9:00\-6:00 Saturdays

  • Closed on Sundays
