Videberg Kraft is building a new nuclear power company from the ground up, where risk management playing a highly important role. As a project company, Videberg Kraft’s mission is to develop, construct, and operate Sweden’s future nuclear power.
We are now looking for a Senior Risk Manager who will be responsible for conducting structured risk management and enable informed decision\-making in high\-impact environments
Your role
As a Senior Risk Manager within the Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in shaping the Risk Management framework for a large\-scale industrial programme. You will be at the centre of the project organisation, ensuring that risks and opportunities are systematically identified, analysed, and managed throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will also be responsible for the company’s insurance portfolio, including ensuring adequate coverage aligned with project needs and risk exposure.
Your focus areas
- Establish and implement best\-practice risk management frameworks and processes
- Lead and facilitate risk workshops with cross\-functional project teams and stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and quantify project risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain risk registers and ensure effective mitigation tracking
- Integrate risk management with project planning, cost control, and overall governance
- Provide clear reporting and recommendations to project management and executive stakeholders
- Support project leadership in prioritisation and decision\-making
- Own and coordinate the company’s insurance portfolio, ensuring adequate coverage aligned with project risks, contractual obligations, and business needs
We are looking for someone who have
- Seniority experience in risk management within large\-scale projects
- Proven track record from complex industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles (schedule, cost, scope, quality)
- Experience with established risk frameworks
- Excellent facilitation skills and ability to lead cross\-functional workshops
- Experience in corporate insurance, project insurance, or insurance\-related risk transfer strategies is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
