The Team is expanding and we are adding a Head of Sales for the EMEA region who shares our values and vision. The Senior Sales Associate will lead sales and business development efforts across key accounts within the food, beverage, and flavor industries. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, industry expertise, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable innovation projects in collaboration with cross\-functional teams.

This role requires strong sales and cross functional leadership, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to clearly communicate commercial deliverables, technical concepts, project status, and strategic recommendations to cross\-functional teams, senior leadership, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop, and expand strategic relationships with customers across the food, beverage, and flavor sectors

  • Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets, growing existing accounts, and securing new business opportunities

  • Lead negotiations, resolve commercial challenges, and implement effective sales strategies to maximize outcomes

  • Collaborate closely with internal applications and technical teams to align customer needs with product solutions

  • Identify and translate customer insights into project opportunities that support innovation and commercialization

  • Represent the company at regional food ingredient trade shows and industry events across EMEA.

  • Deliver product training and technical presentations to customers and distribution partners

  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting, including weekly and monthly sales updates

  • Lead monthly forecasting activities and contribute to annual budgeting processes

  • Support and contribute to the development of strategic business plans for the EMEA market

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the food and beverage sector

  • Lead and mentor a team to drive innovation and excellence in category management. Lead high level projects for key global accounts

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Science, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 7–10\+ years of experience in sales or business development within the food ingredients, flavors, or related industry

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

  • Experience working cross\-functionally with technical or R\&D teams

  • Ability to travel within North America for customer visits and industry events

  • A results\-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and profitability.

  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the food and beverage industry.

  • 7\-10\+ years of R\&D and/or product management experience within the Food and Beverage industry

Pay: £115,000\.00\-£120,000\.00 per year
