We are currently recruiting a Senior Receptionist (Full\-Time, Permanent) to join our Front Office team.
About the Role
As Senior Receptionist, you will support the Reception Manager in the daily operation of the Front Desk, ensuring smooth check\-in and check\-out procedures, excellent guest service delivery and strong team coordination.
This role is suited to an experienced Hotel Receptionist ready to take on additional responsibility within a busy, high\-volume hotel environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining guest satisfaction scores, supporting upselling initiatives and ensuring Front Office standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests professionally and ensure efficient check\-in and check\-out procedures
- Process payments and manage billing through the hotel PMS system
- Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and via email
- Support reservation queries and manage switchboard operations
- Assist in supervising shifts and supporting junior team members
- Maintain high standards of presentation and front desk organisation
- Liaise closely with Accommodation, Sales, Revenue and F\&B departments
- Support complaint resolution and ensure guest satisfaction
- Complete administrative and reporting duties as required
Essential
- Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist, Front Desk Agent or Senior Receptionist
- Strong customer service skills within hospitality, hotel or leisure environments
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Confident using hotel PMS systems (Mews experience highly desirable)
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast\-paced environment
- Flexibility to work early shifts, late shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Experience training or mentoring junior team members
- Experience working in a four\-star or high\-volume hotel
- Proven upselling or guest satisfaction track record
