Senior QA Engineer
Industrial machines worldwide run more reliably because of the software we build at Secomea. As our Senior QA Engineer, you'll be the person who makes sure it stays that way by owning and securing quality across a next\-gen remote access platform used by companies on every continent.
We’re looking for a team\-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who thrives in a rapidly growing environment. You will play a crucial role with deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence.
You’ll also interact closely with our developers, as a substantial amount of functional testing during sprints is done by them. We believe that our development team must take full responsibility from idea to production, including testing. You will also drive our testing automation frameworks and advocate for quality processes along cross functional teams.
You will have several key responsibilities, from defining and implementing test plans to facilitating and executing manual and automated tests.
- Test Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, and test cases to ensure proper coverage of our products.
- Functional and Non\-Functional Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing, including performance, scalability, and reliability testing, particularly within Azure environments.
- Test Automation: Design and implement automated E2E and performance testing frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Regression Testing: Ensure thorough regression testing when integrating new functionalities upon release.
- Security: Ensure that all software products meet industry standards and adhere to best practices for security and compliance.
- Cross\-team QA Support: Assist in testing both software and hardware for different development teams and support in different quality procedures. From helping them with testing on different tasks, to making sure they are following our quality related processes.

About you
On qualifications, we expect you to have most of the following:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5\+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on IT/OT solutions.
- Expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience with Playwright, Postman, and K6\.
- Experience with performance and scalability testing in Azure environments.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD processes for test automation pipelines.
- Experience with AI for test case generation, anomaly detection, or intelligent test coverage analysis.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, SCADA) and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience testing hardware devices.
- Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes, and Linux.
- Certifications in QA or security testing (e.g., ISTQB, CompTIA Security\+, CEH).
- Knowledge of security certifications such as IEC 62443, SOC 2, ISO27001\.
