Accountabilities

  • Lead both automated and manual testing activities, continuously improving test coverage and expanding automation capabilities across the development process.

  • Design, implement, maintain, and enhance testing frameworks to support scalable and efficient quality assurance practices.

  • Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, from defining testing requirements and acceptance criteria to managing defects and approving releases.

  • Develop deep expertise in the platform and its functionalities to ensure consistent quality standards and reliable user experiences.

  • Create, review, and maintain testing documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and comprehensive coverage of critical workflows.

  • Monitor, track, and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.

  • Mentor junior QA professionals and promote best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or another STEM-related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test cases.

  • Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and testing frameworks such as Pytest.

  • Familiarity with test management and documentation tools such as TestRail, Quality Center, or similar platforms.

  • Working knowledge of API testing tools including Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent solutions.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed and Agile teams.

  • Strong communication skills and full professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience in bioinformatics or genomics environments and project management capabilities are considered advantageous.
