Job description
Amaris Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a major digital transformation and project delivery environment in Luxembourg.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring software quality across critical business applications by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project teams to improve software reliability, accelerate delivery cycles, and enhance overall product quality.
This position requires regular on\-site presence in Luxembourg and offers the opportunity to work on large\-scale projects within a structured and collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end\-to\-end automated testing.
Develop and maintain API test automation suites.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and support resolution activities.
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
Collaborate with development and business teams to improve software quality practices.
Contribute to test planning, estimation, and quality reporting activities.
Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or Software Quality Engineer.
Strong hands\-on expertise with automation tools such as:
Selenium
Cypress
Playwright
Experience with API testing tools such as:
Postman
RestAssured
Strong knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools:
Jira
Xray
TestRail
Experience working in Agile and project\-based environments.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
ISTQB Certification.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Exposure to cloud\-based environments and DevOps practices.
Languages
English: Mandatory (professional working proficiency).
French: Considered a strong asset
