The Project: Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of a major central government office project in the vibrant heart of Newcastle\-upon\-Tyne city centre? As the Lead Project Manager, you will deliver a high\-profile CAT B project. This role offers the unique opportunity to showcase your leadership and project management skills, ensuring timely, high\-quality, and cost\-effective delivery that meets client satisfaction. You will be the crucial link between the client, contractor, multi\-disciplinary consultants, and other key stakeholders, driving collaboration and excellence. Note: The role will be based in Leeds/Manchester and travel to Newcastle Upon Tyne also required.
You’ll be responsible for:* Maintaining robust quality systems aligned to service excellence.

• Managing delivery across lifecycle to agreed milestones.


• Supporting senior leaders with timely, accurate outputs.


• Coordinating resources, teams and stakeholders effectively.


• Championing safety first behaviours and HSW framework.


• Managing consultants, procurement, changes and risks.


• Tracking programmes, budgets, performance and KPIs.


• Ensuring compliant handover and continuous improvement.

You’ll need to have:* Construction or project management background.

• Membership of or working towards RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.


• Experience working in a consultancy environment.


• Detailed knowledge and experience of contract administration.


• Able to identify and manage risk.


• Capable of working collaboratively.


• Excellent communications skills.


• Ability to obtain relevant security clearances \- BPSS/SC.
