Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across various departments. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross\-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and implementing best practices in project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic priorities.

  • Supervise project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of delivery.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify project risks or issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Manage requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Utilise various ERP systems (such as Workday, SAP) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6\) to track progress and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with cross\-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Control project costs by monitoring budgets, analysing variances, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Apply different project management methodologies including Waterfall, SAFe Agile frameworks, and utilise tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint for documentation and workflow management.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management using Visio or SAS for data visualisation and analysis.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate project status updates effectively and manage expectations proactively.

  • Ensure compliance with organisational standards for quality assurance, risk management, and documentation practices.
Skills
  • Proven supervising experience with a strong track record of managing diverse teams in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Expertise in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

  • Exceptional team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

  • Strong requirements gathering capabilities coupled with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as Workday or SAP; experience with project management tools including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet is essential.

  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in product management or product development projects preferred.

  • Familiarity with various project management frameworks such as Waterfall or SAFe Agile methodologies; experience using Jira or ServiceNow is advantageous.

  • Data analysis skills using SAS or similar tools for reporting purposes; proficiency in Visio for process mapping is desirable.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively. Pay: £70,000\.00\-£80,000\.00 per year
