SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – ENTERPRISE AWS MIGRATION PROGRAM

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join a large\-scale enterprise AWS migration program in Copenhagen.
This is a key leadership role within an already established transformation program, where you will drive planning, governance, stakeholder alignment, and cross\-functional coordination across multiple technical delivery teams.
The assignment focuses on managing the migration of approximately 100 enterprise applications into AWS while ensuring strong execution, transparency, and structured delivery governance.
You will work closely with Program Management, Architecture, DevOps, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Business stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead end\-to\-end migration planning and governance for enterprise AWS migration initiatives across multiple technical teams.
- Develop and maintain integrated migration plans covering scope, dependencies, timelines, resource needs, and readiness activities.
- Coordinate delivery across application, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, security, and data teams.
- Act as the day\-to\-day people leader for DevOps and Data Engineering consultants within the migration program.
- Drive stakeholder alignment through planning workshops, governance forums, design checkpoints, and go/no\-go milestones.
- Own RAID management, reporting, escalation handling, and delivery governance activities.
- Ensure transparent communication and reporting toward program leadership and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Architects, and Change Management teams to align execution and adoption activities.
- Support structured decision\-making and maintain strong delivery momentum across migration waves.
QUALIFICATIONS \& COMPETENCIES
- 8\+ years of Project or Program Management experience within enterprise IT environments.
- Proven experience leading large\-scale cloud migration or transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of AWS/cloud migration delivery models and enterprise governance structures.
- Experience managing or coordinating matrixed technical teams across multiple workstreams.
- Strong background in delivery governance, RAID management, reporting, dependency tracking, and escalation management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
- Experience driving structured delivery execution in complex enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with PMO, collaboration, and reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent.
- Experience working with external vendors and consulting partners.
- Comfortable working onsite in Copenhagen 3–4 days per week.
