About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Global Marketing PMO to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high‑impact marketing initiatives within a global environment. This role will sit within the Global Marketing PMO and will work closely with marketing stakeholders, creative teams, and operational partners across multiple regions.
The position will be day‑to‑day managed by the Client, with InnerGroup providing operational oversight. This is a full‑time, remote contract role (40 hours/week), aligned to EMEA time zones (GMT / EU), with a 1‑year contract and a strong potential to convert to full‑time within the client organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex, cross‑functional marketing projects from definition through delivery, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
- Own project intake, scoping, and timeline development for marketing programs within the Global Marketing PMO.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (marketing, creative, operations, and other stakeholders) across regions, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders—setting expectations, clarifying requirements, and highlighting key decision points.
- Establish and maintain meeting cadences (e.g., weekly check‑ins, steering committees, stand\-ups) to keep teams aligned and informed.
- Monitor risks, dependencies, and scope changes; proactively surface issues, propose solutions, and adapt plans to keep work on track.
- Produce concise and timely status reports, capacity plans, and Asana dashboards so that “what’s next” is always clear.
- Write and maintain high‑quality project documentation including project summaries, charters, decision logs, RAID logs, and post‑mortems.
- Ensure accurate, up‑to‑date documentation in Confluence and related systems, so tools reflect real progress and decisions.
- Facilitate cross‑functional meetings and workshops, ensuring they drive actionable outcomes, follow‑ups, and clear accountability.
- Lead and facilitate retrospectives; capture learnings and embed them into process and workflow improvements.
- Identify gaps in process, tooling, or communication and champion the creation of new standards, templates, and best practices.
- Support change management initiatives, guiding teams through adoption of new workflows, tools, and governance structures.
- Provide deep stakeholder management, building trust with senior leaders and acting as a calm, organized partner in a fast‑paced marketing environment.
Experience:
- 6–10 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on marketing or creative initiatives.
- Proven experience managing high‑volume marketing or creative projects, ideally across multiple regions.

- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities across cross‑functional and senior teams.
- Outstanding communication and documentation skills—verbal, written, and in creating clear project artifacts.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing initiatives in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with change management, including rolling out new processes, tools, or governance models.
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops, retrospectives, and multi‑stakeholder discussions.
- Hands‑on experience with project management tools, particularly Asana (required).
- Experience with documentation and collaboration tools, particularly Confluence (required).
- Familiarity with marketing workflow or marketing project management tools (preferred).
- Agile / Scrum experience is strongly preferred, and a formal Scrum or Agile certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Ability to work with both Agile and Waterfall approaches, with preference for Agile delivery.
- You are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning complex, multi‑workstream marketing projects end‑to‑end.
- You have a calm, structured, and solutions‑oriented working style, even when dealing with ambiguity or shifting priorities.
- You build strong relationships and trust with senior stakeholders, acting as a reliable partner who brings clarity and structure.
