Key Responsibilities

Agile Enablement:

Coaching \& Mentorship: Provide targeted coaching and mentoring to Heads of Tribes, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Squads on various Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban. Adapt your approach to cater to the diverse needs and maturity levels of each team.

Assessment of Agile Maturity: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of Agile maturity across different Squads, tailoring coaching strategies to enhance practices and address specific challenges.

Facilitation of Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate critical Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and collaborative workshops designed to encourage open dialogue, actionable insights, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Promoting a Project\-to\-Product Mindset: Shift the focus of teams from merely completing tasks to delivering long term value through customer\-centric outcomes, emphasizing the importance of understanding customer needs and business objectives.

Advocating Psychological Safety: Create and nurture an environment of psychological safety, where team members feel empowered to experiment, voice their thoughts, and contribute to a culture of servant leadership and team empowerment.

Agile Coaching Across Roles:

Supporting Scrum Masters: Guide Scrum Masters in their development as effective servant leaders and operational enablers within their Squads, equipping them with the skills to foster high\-performing teams.

Assisting Product Owners: Support Product Owners and Technical Product Owners in managing the backlog effectively, prioritising tasks based on business value and stakeholder engagement to maximise impact.

Guiding Tribe Leadership: Offer insights and guidance to Tribe leadership on Agile governance, alignment of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Facilitating Big Room Planning: Provide coaching or support during Program Increment (PI) Planning /Big Room Planning sessions, ensuring efficient cross\-team coordination and alignment towards common goals.

Scaled Agile \& Transformation Leadership:

Adopting the Disciplined Agile Framework: Guide teams in seamlessly adopting and evolving the Bank's Disciplined Agile Framework, ensuring a high level of adaptability and innovation.

Collaboration with the Delivery CoE \- Work alongside the Agile Coach competency lead to refine and advance Agile practices and governance structures, promoting best practices throughout the organisation.

Product \& Delivery Alignment:

Partnership with Product Owners: Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Technical Product Owners to ensure that backlogs are clearly defined and prioritised according to customer and business value, facilitating a strategic approach to delivery.

Enhancing Backlog Management: Support teams in backlog refinement processes, iteration planning, and ensuring delivery readiness, fostering a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges.

Promoting DevOps Practices: Advocate for the implementation of DevOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
