Senior Project Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Engineer to join our talented team at our office located in Frankfurt, Germany.

In this role, you will provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors. You will also develop a working knowledge of prime contract requirements and apply knowledge to project activities. Additionally, you will coordinate review and approval from the Project Director and communicate this information to the project team.

Support Project Managers and Project Directors in the Following:* Development and maintenance of written project scopes of work and communication of this information to the project team.

• Facilitating communication between project participants and producing documentation of communication between project participants.


• Preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales and marketing documents.


• Development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.


• Punch List Management.


• Completing the close\-out requirements and Turnover Documents (TOPs).


• Pursue scheduling information from Subcontractors, vendors, and/or design professionals.


• Develop a working knowledge of the project budget and identify exposures to the project budget throughout the execution of the project.


• Assist the Project Manager in the management of change control systems and policies.


• Monitor design content and quality and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget.


• Review all shop drawings and submittals and ensure that the submittals and shop drawings are in conformance with the design before submission to the design professional.

• 8\+ years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery, or a related discipline.

• This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.


• You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period.


• Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible depending on the assignment.


• You will visit Client sites and will adhere to stated safety rules.


• This position is a safety\-sensitive position.


• The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for fieldwork. For IPS employees or subcontractors.

• The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non\-administrative" areas.
