ABOUT NONLIMI

NONLIMI is open\-core simulation infrastructure for autonomous systems — from a free\-tier GitHub install to a classified defense environment — so teams can find every failure mode before the real world does.

Serious simulation has been out of reach for most teams. Applied Intuition starts at $50K/year. NVIDIA Isaac Sim requires GPU lock\-in. Ansys averages $320K annually. The result: robotics companies, drone teams, and autonomy startups across Europe test less than they should and deploy with uncertainty they cannot afford.

NONLIMI changes that. Our open\-source core (Apache 2\.0\) wraps NVIDIA Isaac Lab and MuJoCo into a simulation orchestration layer any team can install in minutes. Our AI Cloud adds natural language scenario generation, cloud\-scale parallel simulation, and synthetic data pipelines. Our Enterprise and Defense layers add classified environment support, custom sensor suites, dedicated compute, and EU sovereign deployment — on the same platform, without switching vendors.

What we build:

  • Physics simulation — ground, air, and maritime domains

  • AI scenario generation from plain English

  • Synthetic data pipelines: camera, LiDAR, radar, thermal — fully labeled

  • Regulatory validation: ISO 26262, Euro NCAP, NATO STANAG

  • Marketplace of environments, scenarios, and datasets

  • EU sovereign deployment for defense and critical infrastructure
Who we build for: robotics startups and scale\-ups, industrial OEMs, European defense programs, university research labs.

THE ROLE

You will own the product end\-to\-end: from discovery with robotics teams and defense program offices to writing specs, managing the open\-source release cadence, and designing the free\-to\-paid conversion funnel.

You will be the only PM in the company. No inherited backlog, no product design team beneath you. You work closely with the Director of Operations and the founding team.

Metrics you will own:

  • Activation rate — % of new Nonlimi Core installs that complete a first successful simulation run

  • Time to Value (TTV) — time from install to first simulation output

  • Feature adoption rate — % of active users engaging with specific Core features per release cycle

  • PQL rate — % of Core users reaching the in\-product behavioural threshold that triggers a Cloud upgrade conversation
RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy \& Roadmap

  • Own the 12–18 month product roadmap across all three tiers: open\-source core, cloud, and marketplace.

  • Translate company targets into product bets with documented trade\-offs that engineering can act on.

  • Prioritise the backlog so the team works on what moves revenue and retention.

  • Align roadmap decisions across four segments: startups, industrial OEMs, defense agencies, and universities.
Customer Discovery
  • Run continuous discovery with robotics startups, Tier 1/2 industrial suppliers, EU and NATO defense program offices, and research institutions.

  • Maintain live ICP definitions per segment: specific pain points, buying criteria, and success metrics.

  • Feed discovery findings directly into roadmap decisions and spec work.
PLG Funnel
  • Design the activation and conversion path from open\-source user to cloud subscriber.

  • Define onboarding flows, in\-product upgrade triggers, and self\-serve expansion paths.

  • Set and monitor activation, retention, and conversion metrics. Run structured experiments.
Enterprise \& Defense Product
  • Define specifications for enterprise and classified tiers: regulatory validation pipelines, security controls, and air\-gapped deployment models.

  • Establish feature differentiation between commercial and defense tiers.

  • Provide product input on data residency, sovereignty, and compliance requirements for EU defense customers — in close coordination with the Director of Operations.
Open\-Source Release
  • Define and coordinate the Nonlimi Core v0\.1 public launch: GitHub, ROS Discourse, developer community.

  • Set release criteria, changelog standards, and community feedback loops.

  • Own the open\-source product roadmap.
Marketplace
  • Define catalogue structure, contributor onboarding standards, and scenario/dataset quality criteria.

  • Own the product mechanics of the two\-sided marketplace: supplier activation, buyer experience, asset discovery.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5\+ years in product management, with at least 2 years as a senior IC owning strategy, not just execution.

  • Developer tools or infrastructure product experience — SDKs, APIs, simulation tools, data pipelines, or similar.

  • Demonstrated PLG experience — activation funnels, free\-to\-paid conversion, self\-serve SaaS, with metrics to show for it.

  • Technical fluency in robotics or autonomous systems — ROS/ROS2, simulation workflows, or autonomous system development. Enough to challenge specs and work credibly with engineers.

  • End\-to\-end product ownership — from problem discovery through to GA launch and post\-launch iteration.

  • Comfortable working across customer types — startup practitioners and enterprise/government procurement cycles.

  • Strong written and verbal English — B2\+ Spanish is a plus, not a requirement.

  • Fluent with product analytics — Amplitude, Mixpanel, SQL, or equivalent. Data\-driven prioritisation is a requirement, not a bonus.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Background in defense tech, UAV/drone systems, autonomous vehicles, or industrial automation.

  • Experience with open\-core or open\-source GTM models.

  • Familiarity with EU AI Act, ISO 26262, or NATO STANAG compliance.

  • Prior experience as the first or only PM at a seed\-stage company.

  • Knowledge of synthetic data generation, neural rendering, or world model infrastructure.

  • Marketplace product experience — two\-sided platform mechanics, contributor onboarding.

  • Spanish language proficiency (B2 or above).

  • Network in the European robotics, drone, or defense innovation space.
