Job description
-------------------

As part of a high\-level engineering team, you will leverage your software engineering expertise. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing solutions in the energy sector based on applied mathematical methods


• Providing technical support to development teams


• Providing input to project managers on schedules and cost estimates


• Maintaining tools in operational conditions and provide third level customer support.

Our computation modules are developed in Java, Python, and C\+\+.

Profile
-----------

You hold an engineering school degree, a master or a Ph.D in software engineering, power systems or applied mathematics, you have at least 5 years of professional experience, you are the ideal candidate if:

• You are skilled in Java


• You are skilled in Python and/or C\+\+


• You have knowledge of IT architecture (Kubernetes, Docker...) and DevOps (gitlab, CI/CD)


• You have good knowledge of algorithm design


• You are rigorous, have a strong team spirit and are focused on the customer’s needs


• You have at least a B2 level in English


• You have at least a B2 level in Spanish

Any knowledge, experience and interest in the energy sector, particularly power systems, will be valued.

Recruitment process

The entire process typically takes 3\-4 weeks

Our selection process is structured in two stages:

Step 1 – The first round consisted of two individual interviews (1h15\)

30\-minute meeting with the Director of Artelys España

45\-minute technical interview

Step 2 – The second round consisted of three individual interviews (1h30\)

15\-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys

30\-minute meeting with the President of Artelys España

45\-minute technical test
