Senior Policy Lawyer
This is a senior-level role for an experienced policy lawyer to lead on complex enforcement-related legal and policy matters. You'll head up a specialist team within a multidisciplinary enforcement division, shaping the policies, frameworks, and strategies that underpin major investigations and regulatory action.

Description
- Lead and develop a team of lawyers delivering critical policy and legal workstreams linked to complex enforcement cases
- Provide expert legal and policy advice to support investigation teams on high-profile matters
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enforcement policies and procedures
- Collaborate with government departments, regulatory bodies, and external partners
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and represent the organisation in cross-agency discussions
- Instruct and work closely with external counsel on complex or high-risk matters
- Deliver internal training and contribute to organisational capability building
You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with significant post-qualification experience in the UK (10+ PQE).
Key skills and experience include:
- Strong expertise in public law, regulatory frameworks, and policy development
- Experience working with or alongside regulators, enforcement bodies, or prosecuting authorities
- Proven leadership experience, including managing or mentoring legal teams
- Knowledge of data protection and information law is advantageous
- Base salary of £109,900
- Play a central role in shaping enforcement policy within a high-profile regulatory environment
