Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our Wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large\-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long\-term while protecting the environment.

M Group Water are proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work with Scottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six\-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme.

What will you be doing?

You'll coordinate with Delivery and Design Managers to review and optimise high\-level programmes and resource requirements. You'll integrate capital delivery demand across workstreams, develop project\-specific programmes, and support commercial inputs during estimation, design, and construction. Ensuring all programmes meet NEC3 standards, you will maintain consistency and track performance against SLAs and KPIs. The role involves maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships, as well as leading collaborative planning sessions to drive accountability, improve coordination, and ensure certainty and successful programme delivery across all projects and workstreams, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation overall.

Skills \& Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience working on Primavera P6 at project and programme level

  • Effective communication skills

  • Proven track record in delivering efficiency savings

  • Working knowledge of CDM 2015 and associated health and safety legislation and commercial acumen and experience of NEC3 Option A, C and E forms of contract

  • Extensive working knowledge of pressurised pipelines and experience working on large diameter, high pressure and schemes with engineering difficulties

  • Extensive experience of Capital projects operating and delivery within the Water Utilities Sector, to include:\- mains renewals and rehabilitation via open cut, directional drilling, pipe bursting, slip lining and the like, mains cleansing including site investigation and enabling works
