Senior Physiotherapist

We are seeking a motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our Older Persons Therapy Team. The successful candidate will be supported to develop advanced clinical skills and extended practice in frailty, working alongside a highly respected, innovative, and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
This rotational role offers the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of clinical settings, including:
- Emergency Department (ED) and Acute Medicine Unit (AMU)
- Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (FSDEC)
- Older Persons’ wards
To provide physiotherapy to relevant patients within Frailty and older adults, in a range of settings including inpatients, outpatients and patient homes.

Our main acute hospital site is in Guildford with community hospital sites at Milford, Haslemere and Cranleigh. We provide adult community health services in homes across Guildford and Waverley.

To assess and treat patient’s in relevant rotational area. To support the team in the organisation and provision of an efficient, high quality and co\-ordinated physiotherapy service for patients in each area. To undertake a defined clinical caseload. To ensure that patient and service standards and priorities are met. To provide clinical supervision to assigned Band 5 physiotherapists, technical instructors (TI), physiotherapy assistants (PTA) and students.
