  • €37K – €50K • Offers Bonus
This range represents our target hiring range for this position in Italy.

In addition to base pay: This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus incentive. Payouts are based on individual and company performance and are not guaranteed. The final compensation, including the specific National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) level, will be determined during the interview process based on the candidate’s background and qualifications.

We're looking for a Sr. People Operations Specialist who cares deeply about doing the work well and making the work better. This is a role for someone who thrives in the details, brings calm to complexity, and takes pride in creating a great experience for employees across every stage of their journey.

People Operations is where process, service, systems, and employee experience all come together. In this role, you'll help ensure critical lifecycle moments run smoothly while also improving how the work gets done. You'll support complex employee needs, keep data accurate and reliable, and look for smarter, simpler ways to deliver high\-quality service at scale.

You'll partner closely with HRBPs, People Technology, Payroll, Total Rewards, Finance, IT, and external providers to keep operations running well and continuously improve the experience behind them. If you're energized by solving problems, strengthening processes, and using technology thoughtfully to reduce friction, this role could be a great fit.

The Day to Day
------------------

  • Own and execute complex employee lifecycle processes including pre\-boarding, onboarding, employee changes, internal transfers, leaves, terminations, and offboarding with accuracy, care, and strong coordination

  • Maintain high standards of employee data integrity in Dayforce and related systems, ensuring records are accurate, compliant, auditable, and dependable for downstream teams and processes

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for complex employee and stakeholder questions, providing timely support with sound judgment, empathy, and a strong service mindset

  • Support and continuously improve core People Operations programs and processes in alignment with company policy, regulatory requirements, and regional practices

  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and create a better employee and manager experience

  • Partner with People Technology and HRIS stakeholders on system improvements, testing, rollouts, self\-service enhancements, workflow automation, and documentation

  • Help modernize People Operations by supporting practical uses of automation and AI that improve service delivery, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency while maintaining strong controls and accuracy

  • Administer employee programs and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors across benefits, leave administration, documentation, and other operational programs

  • Perform audits, reviews, and quality checks to identify issues, resolve root causes, and prevent repeat errors

  • Create and maintain clear employee\-facing and internal documentation including contracts, forms, compliance materials, playbooks, and process guidance

  • Provide support across regions and act as a reliable operational partner during peak periods, organizational changes, and cross\-functional initiatives

Your Superpowers
--------------------
  • 5\+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll, benefits, People Operations, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle operations and country\-specific employment practices

  • A high level of comfort working in HRIS platforms, particularly Dayforce or similar systems

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex operational issues in a fast\-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a clear customer\-service mindset

  • A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements within HR or People Operations

  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trust across functions and regions

  • Curiosity about how technology, automation, and AI can improve People Operations in practical, responsible ways

  • Experience working in a distributed or international environment is a strong asset
