An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Band 6 \- Senior Paediatric Sleep and Respiratory Physiologist to join the existing Paediatric Sleep and Respiratory Physiology team within West London Children’s Healthcare (WLCH).

This specialist Band 6 role offers the opportunity to work within a growing and dynamic paediatric sleep and long\-term ventilation service, supporting infants, children and young people with a wide range of complex sleep and respiratory conditions.

Based primarily at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the role includes cross\-site working across all WLCH hospitals, collaborating closely with Consultants, Clinical Scientists, Physiologists, Respiratory Nurse Specialists, Physiotherapists and wider multidisciplinary teams.

The Senior Paediatric Sleep and Respiratory Physiologist will support the delivery and development of specialist paediatric sleep and respiratory physiology services across West London Children’s Healthcare sites.

The post holder will perform and assist in the interpretation of a range of diagnostic sleep investigations for children and young people, including complex cardiorespiratory sleep studies in patients receiving invasive or non\-invasive ventilation. The role also includes supporting children receiving long\-term ventilation.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will contribute to the delivery of high\-quality, family\-centred care while ensuring investigations are performed to a high technical and professional standard in accordance with departmental protocols and AASM standards.
