We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced senior occupational therapist to work on our Enhanced Rehab \& Recovery unit. The unit has 24/7 admissions combining acute stabilisation with recovery\-focused rehabilitation for patients with cognitive impairments.### What you'll be doing
The role involves undertaking comprehensive OT assessments, developing and implementing person\-centred care plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions. You will also assess and review moving\-and\-handling equipment.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team including therapists, nursing professionals, medical staff, psychology services, healthcare support workers, and exercise and wellbeing practitioners, a large part of the role will also involve autonomous working. You will be expected to apply your occupational therapy skills, complete thorough risk assessments and use evidence\-based practice to guide your therapeutic interventions.
The role will also involve supporting the Lead OT in ensuring the OT services across the site are effective, person\-centred, proactive and support Priory objectives.
You will be working alongside an occupational therapy assistant and will be required to provide supervision to other occupational therapy staff.

- Minimum 2 years’ working as an occupational therapist across neurocognitive and mental health settings, excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential for this post.
- The post holder must also be HCPC registered.
