Senior .NET Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team in Zürich in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain solutions in the covered bonds domain within a highly regulated financial environment. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle from building new features and automation processes to ensuring compliance, security and operational stability. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem\-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain .NET\-based applications for the lending and covered bonds area


• Develop automation solutions for deployment, configuration and infrastructure management


• Provide 3rd\-level support, troubleshoot incidents and resolve production\-level issues


• Execute and manage major software releases in regulated environments


• Review SQL queries, perform data analysis and generate stakeholder reports


• Utilize deployment, monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, BigPanda, Splunk) to ensure platform health and stability


• Drive platform improvements focusing on security, performance and compliance


• Collaborate with engineers, product teams and stakeholders in planning and feature delivery

Requirements

• Strong experience with .NET, including WPF, WinForms and ASP.NET


• Knowledge of ETL processes, Kafka\-based interfaces and strong SQL/T\-SQL skills (debugging queries, optimization)


• Hands\-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and automation scripting (PowerShell)


• Familiarity with security best practices, vulnerability remediation and compliance in regulated environments


• Experience with AI\-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)


• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerized deployments


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, proficiency in English


• Work experience in financial services


• Certifications in Microsoft or cloud technologies


• Proficiency in English, German is an advantage
