Join Our Bosch Car Service Team
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Motor Vehicle Technician to join our professional Bosch Car Service workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys tackling complex diagnostics, working with the latest vehicle technologies, and taking an active role in developing the next generation of technicians.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Perform advanced fault\-finding and diagnostics using Bosch and manufacturer\-level diagnostic equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Undertake clutch replacements, cambelt/timing belt replacements, engine repairs, and other major mechanical work.
- Complete welding and fabrication repairs when required.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate reports.
- Ensure all work is completed to Bosch Car Service and manufacturer standards.
- Mentor, train, and support apprentices and junior technicians, helping to develop their technical skills, confidence, and professional standards.
- Assist in creating a positive learning environment within the workshop and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment.
✔ Proven experience as a Senior Motor Vehicle Technician.
✔ Excellent diagnostic and fault\-finding abilities.
✔ Experience working on electric and hybrid vehicles.
✔ Competent in welding and fabrication.
✔ Strong experience replacing clutches and cambelts/timing belts.
✔ Demonstrable experience mentoring, coaching, and developing apprentices.
✔ NVQ Level 3 / City \& Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence.
✔ Positive attitude and a proactive, can\-do approach to work.
✔ Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
✔ Commitment to delivering high\-quality workmanship and customer service.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bosch Diagnostic Technician certification.
- IMI Level 3 or Level 4 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle qualification.
- MOT Tester licence.
