Our platform supports digital receivables and payables financing programs through automated onboarding, invoice processing, reconciliation, reporting and portfolio monitoring.
We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager – Middle Office to join our team and take responsibility for the day\-to\-day operational management of our financing programs.
The role
The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that operational processes are accurate, controlled, efficient and compliant.
This is a hands\-on senior role requiring strong experience in accounting, operational reporting, invoicing, reconciliation, financial administration or similar functions. The successful candidate will work closely with management, compliance, risk, technology, clients and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and control daily operational activities related to receivables and payables financing programs.
- Oversee invoice processing, transaction validation, reconciliations and operational controls.
- Prepare and review operational, financial and management reports.
- Support accounting\-related workflows, including invoicing, payment tracking, cash\-flow controls and transaction documentation.
- Coordinate client onboarding processes, including KYC/AML documentation and internal approval workflows.
- Monitor operational issues, exceptions, discrepancies and follow\-up actions.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and audit trails.
- Work with compliance, risk, finance, technology and client\-facing teams to improve processes and controls.
- Support the implementation and optimization of digital operational workflows.
- Contribute to building scalable middle\-office processes for a growing fintech business.
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, reporting, invoicing, financial operations, middle office, back office or similar roles.
- Experience in banking, fintech, trade finance, factoring, insurance, asset management or corporate finance is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, reporting and transaction documentation.
- Excellent command of Excel and Office tools.
- High level of accuracy, responsibility, autonomy and organizational discipline.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a growing company.
- Professional command of English is mandatory.
- Italian is required.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with invoice\-based financing, receivables, payables, factoring, supply chain finance or corporate treasury operations.
- Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and compliance documentation.
- Experience working with digital platforms, ERP systems or reporting tools.
- Comfortable working in a hands\-on, entrepreneurial fintech environment.
- Permanent contract — tempo indeterminato or contractor basis
- Hybrid working model in Milan.
