The Wireless Implementation Management Authority (Wi‑IMA) role involves a Senior Maritime CIS Project Manager / Implementation Manager responsible for coordinating and managing complex military Communications and Information Systems (CIS) projects in multinational and geographically dispersed environments. The position requires strong project management expertise combined with a solid technical understanding of CIS, telecommunications, or defence technologies, supporting the full lifecycle of planning, design, installation, testing, and integration activities while ensuring effective stakeholder coordination and programme governance.
Tasks:
- Manage and coordinate large\-scale, multi\-stakeholder CIS projects across multiple nations.
- Oversee project scope, planning, scheduling, cost, and risk management.
- Coordinate planning, design, installation, testing, and integration of CIS systems.
- Organize and facilitate working groups, technical meetings, and steering committees.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and action tracking.
- Support programme governance and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Ensure configuration and documentation management (change control, versioning, release management).
- Contribute to defence procurement processes including cost estimation, tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract execution.
- Strong background in Communications and Information Systems (CIS), telecommunications, or defence technologies.
- Project management methodologies and certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA or equivalent).
- Knowledge of configuration and documentation management practices (CM plans, procedures, change control).
- Familiarity with CIS system lifecycle (planning, design, installation, testing, integration).
- Experience with tools: Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, ServiceNow.
- Understanding of military and NATO environments and multi\-national coordination.
- English (C1\) MANDATORY.
- Brussels (on\-site).
- 700\-720€/day.
