Roles \& Responsibilities

KPMG's Indirect Tax practice is a fast\-growing area of our tax business both in terms of people as in terms of revenues. We assist a variety of clients, from large multinationals to local clients, on a broad range of indirect tax topics. Our teams are “360 degree service oriented” with tax technical, team leadership and client\-facing responsibilities.

We are looking for a VAT (Senior) Manager to join our dynamic team in the Hasselt office.

In your role you will give advice on national and international level to businesses and their tax teams on the development and execution of effective indirect tax management strategies.

Your responsibilities would include:

Advisory projects, often in a multidisciplinary context

Project management

Coach a dynamic and enthusiastic team of (Senior) Advisors

Business development and proposals

Development and expansion of our practice

Skills \& Qualifications

• You have obtained a Master degree in Law or Applied Economics. A specialized degree in Tax is an asset


• You have a relevant experience in VAT of preferably at least 4 years


• You are highly motivated, dynamic and carry a passion for this specific domain


• You can communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear


• Because of your strong organizational skills you are able to manage large and complex projects. Above that, the ability to interact with different stakeholders at all levels is a strong asset


• Your mindset is client centric, innovative and pro\-active


• You have a desire to build relationships with new clients


• You are fluent in English
