Senior Manager, Regional Process Excellence & Innovation Freight Fowarding (f/m/d)

The Senior Manager, Regional Process Excellence \& Innovation Freight Fowarding (f/m/d) acts as the regional lead for translating strategy into execution — supporting the Sr. Director Ops Excellence in delivering a standardised, data\-driven, and digitally enabled operating model across Air, Ocean.

The role balances hands\-on project execution with stakeholder management, supporting business units in adopting process excellence principles, automation tools, and innovation initiatives.

How you will contribute:

• Lead the identification, design, and delivery of process improvement initiatives across Freight Europe


• Drive the regional deployment of automation and digitalisation projects in coordination with the global Ops Excellence, Data, and IT teams


• Support the definition, rollout, and monitoring of standard operating procedures (SOPs), process KPIs, and performance Frameworks


• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to create visibility tools and Dashboards


• Manage multiple cross\-functional improvement and transformation projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and expected Outcomes


• Act as a key interface between Operations, IT, Data, and other functional teams. Facilitate workshops, training, and communication sessions to ensure effective change adoption and process ownership at regional and local Level


• Provide guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing on process improvement tools, continuous improvement culture, and innovation practices to local and cluster Teams


• Partner with regional QA and governance functions to ensure operational readiness for audits, certifications, and customer requirements related to process performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, or a related field.Master’s degree preferred in a related field or in Process/Operational Excellence


• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain or Logistics Operations, , including at least 3 years in a process improvement or transformation role


• Proven track record in leading process optimisation and digitalisation initiatives within an international, multi\-site organisation


• Experience working in cross\-functional, multicultural environments and managing complex stakeholder networks.


• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable projects and deliver measurable operational results


• Familiarity with freight systems, TMS/ERP environments, and automation or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)


• Skilled at influencing teams, facilitating workshops, and embedding new ways of working through structured change approaches


• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional European languages (German, Dutch, or French) are an advantage
