The Senior Manager Pricing \& Contracting Innovative Medicines Spain is responsible for defining, implementing and governing pricing and contracting strategies across the full product lifecycle within the Spanish healthcare system.
The role combines national, regional and hospitals pricing expertise with contracting capabilities (MEAs, risk‑sharing agreements, hospital and regional agreements) and European/global pricing coordination (IRP, launch sequencing, pricing corridors).
How You’ll Spend Your Day

- Develop and maintain pricing models for Spain, including IRP exposure (outbound/inbound), launch scenarios, and price review simulations.
- Support national P\&R processes by providing pricing inputs for CIPM submissions, negotiations, and post\-approval price governance.
- Monitor Spanish pricing regulation updates and assess business impact (price reviews, clawbacks, reference pricing, managed entry agreements).
- Collaborate with European pricing and Market Access teams to align Spain within regional pricing corridors and global guidance.
- Provide pricing support to Business Development \& Licensing (BD\&L) assessments relevant to the Spanish market.
- Prepare pricing scenarios for exceptional cases, MEAs, and value\-based access agreements increasingly used in Spain.
- Maintain pricing tools and databases (e.g. iMAP or equivalent) ensuring compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.

- 5\+ years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, market access, HEOR, or strategic analytics.
- Strong understanding of the Spanish Pricing \& Reimbursement system.
- Good knowledge of European pricing principles (IRP, external reference pricing, launch sequencing).
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, familiarity with pricing tools used in pharma organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Health Economics, Business, or relevant field preferred.

- Ability to translate complex pricing analytics into executive\-ready insights.
- Effective collaborator with the ability to build relationships across complex matrix organizations.
- High attention to detail, compliance orientation, and ability to manage ambiguity.
- Excellent professional communication skills in English and Spanish.

- Travel: up to 20% (mainly Europe).
